44% of Boiler Scrappage Vouchers Used
BBC News reports that over 44% of the English Boiler Scrappage Scheme vouchers have now been allocated. As of mid-February 2010, over 54,000 voucers have been given out to eligible households. These vouchers are worth £400 off a new gas boiler when you replace your old gas boiler.

Boiler Scrappage in Wales
The Welsh Assembly has voted to offer a boiler scrappage scheme to people in Wales from 1st April 2010. The Welsh Boiler Scrappage scheme, unlike that in the UK, will only support people who are over-60 with eligible boilers.
